FOCUS ON – Warning Labels
Warning Labels are used in various applications to advise of potential hazards or notify of mandatory or prohibitive actions to be (or not to be) taken.
Sometimes signage and labels need to be used in the strangest of small places and other times they need to be large enough to see and read from a distance. Which is why it is important that a variety of materials are offered. At GSM Online Label Sales, we understand that a label may be above, below or to the side of you and therefore different sizes and designs are required.
The location of the label will determine which material option should be used. Online we offer; polycarbonate, aluminium, Foamex and vinyl options that can be personalised to meet your individual specifications.
Therefore, if you require a label to advise of electrical voltage an option would be to use a vinyl, yellow caution label. This can be put into tricky places on electrical equipment and will easily bend around cables etc.
Rigid Foamex signs are ideal for screwing to areas that need to have signage at eye level. Their rigidity lends them to be able to be screwed safely and securely to walls, doors and cupboards for the perfect eye-level warning label.
Polycarbonate labels are able to be under-surface or reverse printed to provide a very durable finish to the label. Printing this way enables the material to act as a barrier for the ink, making it great for use in locations that may get cleaned or wiped with products or chemicals, potentially located on the floor.
Aluminium warning plates offer a durable metal nameplate to display cautionary, mandatory and/or warning information. Anodising the aluminium provides a really durable option where the ink is sealed beneath the anodic layer. These are used widely on commercial lorries and trucks more often than not located underneath the vehicle. Therefore, a mechanic servicing the vehicle may be underneath looking up at the warning plate.
