Benefits of using Asset Labels
One of the most important ways to protect your assets is to identify them. Asset labels are useful for many reasons and help to identify your goods whether it be to protect them against being lost or stolen or promote your company whilst away from the office. The benefits of asset labels are endless as they can also be used internally to keep a record of your assets/property.

Using an asset number to personalise a part or product enables extra details to be added to a database once the identification number is logged. Details can be further noted against the serial number in future for example; if a sold date or manufactured date needed to be documented.

One step further in your asset number journey would/could be to invest in a barcode scanner and include a barcode on your asset label. This can house the data you require but as it will link to a unique serial number the information housed can be altered or added on your database at your convenience. The barcode takes out the possibility of human error when reading the serial numbers.

The Options Offered by GSM

Our polycarbonate asset labels are digitally, under-surface printed to provide a protective layer to the product. As they are supplied as self-adhesive asset labels they are quick and easy to apply.

For a metal asset label we offer to digitally print into pre-anodised aluminium and then seal it to produce a hard wearing and durable aluminium identity label. There is the option to include as much detail as you require in a colour you desire. The asset labels we offer are available in a range of sizes so you can select one that is correct in size for your application. There is also the option for either square cut or radius (rounded) corners with one final option of either 3M 468 adhesive or fixing / rivet holes for attaching the asset label.
