Laser Marking Blanks
Check out our anodised aluminium blank labels for laser marking and engraving.
Fully anodised and in a colour to suit, these aluminium blanks are ready for in-house laser marking or engraving. An alternative to laser engraving blanks is dot peen marking labels whereby a series of tiny dots are used closely together to create the detail on the plate.
Laser marking and engraving blanks in-house is a great way to identify machinery and products on a production site without the added pressure of pre-printing a set amount of labels. This allows labels to be engraved and fitted on-site or in-house using handheld machinery.
We offer several anodised colour variants on the 1mm thick aluminium blank labels to provide good contrast to make the laser marked or laser engraved detail stand out. These are also offered with a natural finish to the aluminium so that the laser engraved blanks have a silver finish to the face of them. Anodising the aluminium is the process of electrically charging the aluminium to open the metals pores. Coloured engraving blanks are then printed using anodic inks before sealing the aluminium creating a hard wearing and durable surface to the blank.
With these laser engravable blanks there is the option to customise them to suit your particular requirement. As well as varying sizes available we also offer the option to include either square or radius corners on the engraving blank. Finally, the option to have either 3M 468 adhesive or rivet/fixing holes is available so you may choose the most appropriate method for fixing the plates based on your individual application.
