Stainless Steel Blank Labels
In-house laser marking has become more popular over the last few years providing companies with more flexibility on their projects.
At the start of projects companies may not know all of the details that they require a plate or labels to include. Therefore making the option to add their own detail at the end of their project very appealing.
Reasons detail may not be known
Some projects may require details of the finished piece of equipment however some components required in the manufacturing process may be outsourced and therefore detail will not be known until they are delivered for installation.
Other companies may be adding a plate or label to a piece of equipment that is located at a site or remote location. If labels were to be printed it would consist of numerous visits to collect the data required and once printed, further visits to attach the plates into position.
Using blank data plates with a portable dot peen marker or laser engraver could significantly reduce the time needed for this stage of manufacturing.
What material to use
Different industries require different materials for their varying applications depending upon where the label is located.
A plate that is to be located outdoors and subject to all weathers may be anodised aluminium however if a plate is required to withstand; petrochemical, oil, as or marine environments then we would recommend using a stainless steel plate.
With this in mind, GSM Online Labels Sales has developed a range of stainless steel blanks to provide a robust and long-lasting solution to laser-marked products.
